The Michigan Chapter is here to support our local solid waste professionals and the communities they work in. Being a part of the local chapter gives you the opportunity to have a voice in your own region. Membership with the Michigan Chapter has many great benefits:
Our objective is to enhance the local solid waste industry and our members’ professional career goals by providing local training courses, hosting events, tours, networking opportunities, and delivering updates on local legislation.
The Young Professional member is any individual who is 35 years of age or younger, including undergraduate and graduate students. The goal of the YP committee is to encourage YP involvement in the Michigan Chapter. The YP committee is a great place to meet your peers and find a mentor. Being new to a field can be intimidating, but we have all faced similar challenges and opportunities in the solid waste field. The YP committee is a great place to turn to for advice and guidance as you begin your career.
